According to the GfK, Beni Hafner, also known as the Bavarian singer-songwriter Oimara, has taken the top spot on the official German single charts with his song “Wackelkontakt”. This marks a significant rise for the artist, pushing Zartmann’s “Tau mich auf” to second place. Rounding out the top three are Rosé and Bruno Mars, with their collaboration “APT”.
In the top 10, Lady Gaga appears twice, with “Abracadabra” at number four and “Die With A Smile” (her collaboration with Bruno Mars) at number six.
Meanwhile, the rapper Finch has achieved a third number one album with “Schluss mit lustig”, following the success of “Rummelbums” in 2022 and “Dorfdisko zwei” in 2023. Roland Kaiser’s album “Marathon” takes second place, while the progressive metal band Dream Theater’s “Parasomnia” completes the top three.
Kendrick Lamar’s physical releases of “GNX” have pushed the rapper up the charts, from number 26 to number four, just two and a half months after the digital release.
The official German charts, compiled by GfK Entertainment on behalf of the Federal Association of the Music Industry, account for 90 percent of all music sales.
