BREAKING: Left Party EXPOSED: The Dirty Secret Behind Their Failed Coup to Block German Arms Spending

A German party, the Left, has rejected a proposal by its former faction leader, Sahra Wagenknecht, to convene the new German Bundestag before a special session on Tuesday, along with the AfD through the one-third of the members of parliament that they will jointly represent in the future.

According to the parliamentary group’s manager, Christian Görke, the German Basic Law does not allow a third of the members of parliament to convene a new Bundestag, as Wagenknecht claimed. The necessary decision for the constitution of the Bundestag is always a majority decision and the one-third of the members of parliament, comprising the AfD and the Left, can only convene a Bundestag that has already been constituted.

“We reject this political dumbing down by BSW and AfD” Görke told the Redaktionsnetzwerk Deutschland. “We stand for a consistent opposition, but without sly tricks and conscious misinformation.” He added, “We will use all the means at our disposal to stop this arms race mania.” A first lawsuit by the Left in Karlsruhe has just been dismissed and a second one is still pending.

Earlier, the chair of the Party BSW, Sahra Wagenknecht, had called on the future Left faction to convene the new parliament earlier to prevent the decision on additional debt for arms and infrastructure on Tuesday. The Left and AfD could, with their future minority, also force the gathering of the new Bundestag, Wagenknecht told the RND.
