BREAKING: Germany's Ruling Party CRUSHED as Polls Show Historic Low of 29% Just Weeks Before Election!

Two weeks before the German federal election, the three strongest parties in the polls have all lost ground. According to the weekly survey conducted by Insa for the “Bild am Sonntag”, the CDU has fallen below the 30% mark, now standing at 29% (-1 point from the previous week). The AfD and the SPD have also lost a point, at 21% and 16% respectively.

The Greens remain at 12%, while the Bund Freie Wähler (BSW) and the Left Party would just barely make it into the Bundestag with 6% and 5% respectively, the latter of which is a one-point gain since October 2023. The FDP, on the other hand, would not make it into the parliament with 4%. Seven percent of respondents would choose one of the smaller parties, a two-point increase.

At this point, a coalition of the CDU and SPD would have a razor-thin parliamentary majority in the Bundestag, but a Black-Green coalition would not be possible. The survey was conducted among 1,204 people from February 3 to 7.
