BREAK-IN SHOCKER: Cologne Airport's Secret Water Hub Hacked AGAIN!

Another break-in at the airbase in Cologne-Wahn.

According to the first investigations, the perpetrators or the perpetrator broke into the Bundeswehr’s fenced area between the end of December and the beginning of January, as reported by the “Spiegel”. They attempted to open a door of the waterworks, which is owned by the airbase and supplies the air force base and the military part of the Cologne-Bonn Airport with drinking water.

Apparently, the intruders were not able to break open the door. They also made an attempt at a nearby radio mast and tried, although apparently unsuccessfully, to remove a metal barrier to climb onto the mast. After the break-in was discovered in the morning of January 2, the Cologne police, according to a spokesperson, launched an investigation, with the procedure falling under state protection.

It is worth noting that there was a break-in at the waterworks in August as well. Initially, there was a suspicion that saboteurs might have contaminated the drinking water, but the Bundeswehr confirmed after an inquiry that this was not the case. The Flugbereitschaft of the federal government is stationed in Cologne-Wahn.
