Israeli Ambassador to Germany, Ron Prosor, has welcomed the military strikes by the United States on Iranian nuclear facilities. “Every decision has consequences, but so does the lack of a decision: Last night, not only was an existential threat to Israel averted, but also a nuclear arms race in the Middle East was prevented” he told the Welt.
Prosor revealed that his own family had become a victim of Iranian retaliatory attacks on Tel Aviv, stating, “On Sunday night, the apartment of my son was devastated in an Iranian attack. It was not a direct hit, but the shockwave from the explosion was enough to make the flat uninhabitable. The family spent the night in a bunker.”
“Every Israeli knows someone affected by the war” he added. It was clear to everyone that Israel would pay a price for stopping the Iranian nuclear program. “In the end, we had to take a heavy but decisive turn for the future of Israel and the world.
