Former SPD General Secretary Kevin Kühnert is set to appear in the Bundestag on this Tuesday, delivering a final speech for the SPD’s parliamentary faction before the end of the legislative period, according to the “Rheinische Post” (Tuesday edition) citing sources from the party and parliamentary faction. The allotted speaking time for the speech is three minutes.
Kühnert stepped down from the position of SPD General Secretary in October 2024 due to health reasons. His Bundestag appearance is expected to be his first public appearance since his departure from the top office.
