After the 1:2 defeat against FC Bologna in the Champions League, Borussia Dortmund has reportedly parted ways with coach Nuri Sahin. This is according to a consistent report by “Sport-Bild” and the broadcaster “Sky Sport”.
The decision, it is said, was taken by BVB’s managing director Lars Ricken and sports director Sebastian Kehl, with the team and coach being informed of the decision in the hotel in the dead of night.
Dortmund had recently suffered losses against Bayer 04 Leverkusen, Holstein Kiel, Eintracht Frankfurt, and Bologna, and has slipped to 10th place in the Bundesliga.
