Bomb Scare Erupts in Berlin Schools

The Amokalarm, which led to a police deployment at two interconnected elementary schools in the Berlin district of Schmargendorf on Friday, was triggered by a technical defect. The Berlin Police announced this on social media platforms. The cause is still being clarified.

According to police statements, more than 60 children, educators, and teachers were in the schools. They have now left the buildings and are being comforted on site, it was said. Due to the Amokalarm, around 230 emergency responders and counselors were in action, according to the Berlin Police.
