Israel’s Ambassador to Germany, Ron Prosor, has expressed shock and concern over the fatal attack on two Israeli diplomatic staff in Washington, calling for consequences, including in Germany.

In an interview with the German television channel “Welt”, Prosor emphasized the need for a clear stance against anti-Israel and anti-Semitic rhetoric, which he believes contributes to such violent acts. “We cannot remain silent” he said. “We must show a clear edge.”

The ambassador also addressed the repeated anti-Semitic incidents in Germany, stating that it is the responsibility of the community to combat such hate crimes, in order to ensure a better and more just society for all.
