According to a statement released by Bielefeld Police, a 40-year-old male discharged an air rifle at a neighbor, inflicting minor injuries. The incident occurred in the Heepen district, specifically on Stieglitzweg.

Neighbors initially alerted authorities around 3:00 PM after the 45-year-old neighbor sustained several non-life-threatening injuries. Emergency responders provided immediate medical assistance at the scene. Upon arrival, officers reported that the suspect also discharged the air rifle in their direction, prompting the deployment of a specialized tactical unit.

The 40-year-old suspect was apprehended and taken into custody around 5:00 PM within his apartment. He sustained minor injuries during the arrest.
