Bayern’s Wanner Joins PSV Eindhoven

Young German international Paul Wanner has completed a permanent transfer from Bayern Munich to PSV Eindhoven, the Bundesliga champions announced Friday. The 19-year-old forward joined Bayern’s youth setup in 2018.

Sporting director Max Eberl stated, “Paul Wanner arrived at the Bayern Campus at the age of 13, continually developed his skills, became a junior national player and recommended himself for the professional ranks. We wish him all the best for the future.

Wanner progressed through all of Bayern’s youth teams after joining from FV Ravensburg in the 2018/19 season. He made eight appearances for the Bayern first team, winning two German league titles during his time with the club. The past two seasons saw Wanner gain experience on loan at SV Elversberg and 1. FC Heidenheim, where he featured 28 and 41 times respectively, scoring six goals in each campaign.
