In the latest update from the German music charts, Linkin Park takes the top spot with the Deluxe Edition of their long-selling album “From Zero”. According to the GfK, a leading market research organization, the band’s new release has reached the number one position on the official German album charts.
Following closely behind is the “40th Anniversary Edition” of Dire Straits’ iconic album “Brothers in Arms”. The top five positions are also occupied by notable artists, including singer-songwriter Tom Twer, Maneskin’s frontman Damiano David and the compilation “Sing meinen Song – Das Tauschkonzert Vol. 12”.
Meanwhile, the German ESC duo Abor & Tynna has climbed back up the album charts with their debut LP “Bittersüß”, now ranking at number 13.
In the single charts, Abor & Tynna’s track “Baller” has reached an impressive third place, the highest position for an ESC act since Michael Schulte’s “You Let Me Walk Alone” in 2018. For the third consecutive week, “Shabab(e)s im VIP” by Pashanim & Ceren holds the top spot. A new entry, the Deutschrap duet “Connected” by RAF Camora & reezy, has made the highest debut on the charts.
The official German charts, compiled by GfK Entertainment on behalf of the Federal Association of the German Music Industry, account for approximately 90 percent of all music sales in the country.
