German midfielder Andreas Müller has left SV Darmstadt 98 to join Karlsruher SC, the club announced on Saturday. According to the team’s sporting director, Paul Fernie, Müller had expressed his desire to make the switch to the KSC. Fernie stated that the club’s objective is to grow and strengthen its financial position and in this case, the economic parameters were met, allowing the sale to go through.
Müller had been under contract with the second-division side since 2021 and was a key performer in the previous season, featuring in 45 matches and scoring two goals.
