AfD's Secret Plan for German Election Unveiled in Riesa!

The AfD has continued its two-day federal party convention in Riesa, Saxony, on Sunday morning.

The party will make decisions on its program for the federal election in February, among other things, on the final day. The subject of debate during the previous day were already some amendments. The controversial term “Remigration” has been incorporated into the program, for instance. In contrast, the explicit demand for Germany’s exit from the European Union was struck from the program, and instead, the party will advocate for a “transition from the European Union to a union of European nations”. The reintroduction of the draft, on the other hand, has been incorporated into the draft, contrary to the original plans.

A controversial debate is expected on Sunday over the plans of the party leadership, which aims to dissolve the youth organization Junge Alternative (JA) and replace it with a new association. A two-thirds majority is necessary for the constitutional amendment, and it is still unclear whether this majority will be achieved.

Further protests against the party convention are also expected on Sunday. On Saturday, 10,000 people demonstrated on site against right-wing extremism.
