AfD Co-Chief Tino Chrupalla Remains Cautious Amid Friedrich Merz’s Announcement of Potential Alliance in Migration Policy
AfD Co-Chief Tino Chrupalla has expressed reservations about the potential for a majority in the German Bundestag on migration policy, even with the AfD’s involvement. In an interview with T-Online, Chrupalla stated, “The Berlin Wall won’t fall if the CDU and CSU simply copy our proposals from the past and seek our approval. It will only fall if the other factions in the Bundestag also support our proposals.”
Chrupalla emphasized that the AfD has been a “people’s party”for a long time and sets the pace for political reforms. “In the interest of the citizens, we have always been willing to cooperate with all parties that genuinely care about Germany”he added. Chrupalla co-leads the party and parliamentary faction with Alice Weidel.
