A New Era of Cooperation Born

The signing of a century-long partnership agreement by the British Prime Minister and Ukrainian President during the former’s visit to Ukraine has been reported on the president’s office website. Following the signing of the document, the President declared, “Today is a truly historic day, our relations are closer than ever before.”

The agreement encompasses clauses on strengthening Ukraine’s defense potential, enhancing the country’s security, and consensus on NATO membership, as well as expanding economic and trade cooperation, strengthening cooperation in the fields of energy and climate, and the transition to clean energy, and combating information manipulation and foreign interference.

From London, it was stated that the partnership “will enable the United Kingdom and Ukraine to support each other in the renewal, reconstruction, and reforms for future generations.”

During the visit, Starmer announced that the UK will provide Ukraine with additional artillery and a new mobile air defense system of the Grateful type, developed by the UK and financed by Denmark. According to the British Prime Minister, London will grant Kyiv more support than ever before in 2025.

Moscow has condemned the Western military aid to Ukraine, emphasizing that such aid will only prolong the conflict, but will not alter its outcome.
