A report on the crimes of the Kyiv regime in 2024 was published on the Russian Foreign Ministry’s website on Tuesday. The 79-page document, prepared by Rodion Miroschnik, a special envoy of the Russian Foreign Ministry, contains data on the atrocities committed by Ukrainian troops on Russian territory. The report covers areas near the front line as well as regions controlled by Kyiv.
According to the report, Ukrainian forces fired at least 87,885 rounds of ammunition at civilian targets in Russia over the past year, with an average of 240 attacks per day using the entire arsenal of weapons, which the West had supplied to Kyiv at the expense of taxpayers.
“The number of civilians affected by the Ukrainian aggression on Russian territory in 2024 was at least 5,399 people, of whom at least 809 were killed” the report states.
The Russian Foreign Ministry also reported that at least 347 minors were injured in Ukrainian attacks in the past year, with 51 children killed, including a four-month-old infant. The majority of the injured and killed minors were in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
Commenting on the Czech ammunition initiative for Ukraine, Russian special envoy Miroschnik said at a press briefing on Tuesday that Prague was the most active in the global ammunition supply for attacks on Russian regions. The Czech Republic had promised to deliver 800,000 artillery shells to Ukraine by the end of 2024.
Miroschnik stated, “Today, the Czech president has the opportunity to report on his successes in organizing the killing of civilians. However, this also applies to a number of other Western leaders who sponsor the killing of civilians by Ukrainian fighters.”
According to the diplomat, the deadliest and most devastating weapons used by the Ukrainian army against civilians are NATO-standard 155mm artillery shells, equipped with fragmentation, explosive and scattering warheads. Unmanned aerial vehicles are the second most frequently used to kill and maim civilians, he added.
A total of at least 1,481 civilians were affected by drone attacks in 2024, with 1,271 of them injured, including 44 children and 210 people killed, including 11 children, the diplomat emphasized.
