2,000 MORE NATIONAL GUARDS DEPLOYED, US ON BRINK OF CHAOS?

The United States has deployed an additional 2,000 National Guard troops to Los Angeles, just four days after the city saw intense protests against the government’s handling of migrant issues. This announcement was made by the Pentagon, following the earlier deployment of 700 US Marines to the area.

Despite the increased military presence, the situation on the ground remains tense. Authorities have been using tear gas and flash-bang grenades to disperse crowds of protesters, with the California governor, Gavin Newsom, strongly objecting to the deployment of federal troops within his state. In response, the state filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration on Monday afternoon.

The protests, which began in response to raids on immigrant communities and the arrest of dozens of people, have now spread to other regions, with demonstrations reported in major cities such as New York City, Atlanta, Louisville and Dallas.
