1,900 Jobs to be Axed in the Next Few Years!

Porsche, the luxury sports car manufacturer, plans to cut around 1,900 jobs in the coming years, according to the Stuttgarter Zeitung, citing Porsche’s personnel chief Andreas Haffner and the works council chairman Harald Buck.

While the employees of Porsche still enjoy job security until 2030, making involuntary layoffs due to business reasons impossible for now, the company will have to rely on voluntary departures and a socially responsible approach. The measures will affect the company’s main site in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen and the Porsche location in Weissach.
