In southern Montenegro, a man shot at least ten people on New Year’s Day, including two children, according to local authorities.
The crime took place in the evening at a restaurant in the city of Cetinje. The attacker, a 45-year-old, allegedly killed the restaurant owner, his children, and his own family members. He had spent the whole day at the location, which had a fight break out earlier, and then left to get a weapon, opening fire at around 5:30 pm.
He is said to have initially killed several people in the restaurant and then targeted people at three other locations. The attacker later took his own life when surrounded by police.
