Several Berlin districts experienced a water supply outage on New Year’s Eve.
The affected city districts were Wedding, Moabit, Charlottenburg, Wilmersdorf, Schöneberg, Kreuzberg, Prenzlauer Berg, Frohnau, and Mitte, as reported by the Berlin Water Company. However, users also reported a water outage in Friedrichshain, Spandau, and Kladow.
The cause was a pipe damage on Seestraße in the Wedding district, with the street fully closed.
