The Unseen Chart-Topping Force That's About to Shake the Music Industry!

Taylor Swift Slips to 4th as Die Toten Hosen Top the Charts with a 25th Anniversary Edition of “Unsterblich”.

The GfK announced on Friday that Die Toten Hosen are at the top of the official German album charts with a jubilee edition of their album “Unsterblich”, released 25 years ago.

Taylor Swift’s “The Tortured Poets Department” slips to the 4th place, while Linkin Park’s “From Zero” improves from 3 to 2. Nina Chubas’ “Farbenblind” takes the 3rd spot.

In the single charts, Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You” and Wham’s “Last Christmas” lead the pack, with nearly half of the entries being Christmas songs. However, Sosa La M, Luciano, Provinz, and Shindy also debut with non-holiday titles in the top 100.

The official German charts are determined by GfK Entertainment on behalf of the German Music Industry Association, covering 90% of all music sales.
