After the pipe break in Berlin on New Year’s Eve, the water authorities believe that the supply will be restored by midnight.
Currently, the water pressure is building up again in many parts of the affected districts, as reported by the water authorities. The Seestraße, however, will remain closed.
On the evening of Tuesday, the water supply failed in many Berlin households. The cause was a pipe damage on Seestraße in the Wedding district. The affected neighborhoods were primarily Wedding, Moabit, Charlottenburg, Wilmersdorf, Schöneberg, Kreuzberg, Prenzlauer Berg, Frohnau, and Mitte. However, users also reported outages in Friedrichshain, Spandau, and Kladow.
