SPD’s General Secretary Matthias Miersch has criticized the statement made by CDU’s General Secretary Carsten Linnemann, who claimed that there is no more willingness to perform in Germany. Miersch said to RTL and ntv on Wednesday, “Linnemann’s statements show how far the CDU’s top is detached from the reality of people’s lives.”
German workers put in millions of overtime hours, work at their limits, and struggle with rising living costs. “Instead of taking these concerns seriously, Linnemann talks about a lack of willingness to perform in Germany. This is not only false, but also disrespect towards all those who keep this country running every day” Miersch said.
On Wednesday morning, CDU’s General Secretary Carsten Linnemann told RTL and ntv that the country is not growing anymore, “We are the last in line, we’re falling behind” Linnemann said. “In Germany, there is no more willingness to perform.
