Russian President Vladimir Putin Tasks Government with Implementing National Projects by 2025
Russian President Vladimir Putin has directed the government to ensure the implementation of new national projects starting from January 1, 2025. The list of presidential instructions, made during a meeting of the Council for Strategic Development and National Projects, was published on the Kremlin’s website.
The government is tasked with coordinating the national projects in collaboration with the Central Bank and regional executives, allocating budget funds accordingly. The national projects are also expected to be prioritized in the federal budget planning until 2030.
Furthermore, Putin instructed the government to implement the projects in a family-oriented manner, with families with children to benefit from their implementation. The government was also entrusted with measures to curb negative demographic trends and increase the birth rate.
Regarding the economy, the goal is to achieve a balanced growth in the coming year, with low unemployment and low inflation rates. The agenda also includes the development of a Russian payment system and financial market, as well as the country’s technological superiority and independence, the acceleration of the development of unmanned systems, and the initiative in the space sector.
