A 38-year-old man from Germany died in a police chase after stealing a bulldozer in the southwestern state of Baden-Württemberg. The incident occurred on a major highway and in an industrial area, causing significant damage to several police cars, civilian vehicles, and a building.
The stolen bulldozer was taken from a construction site in Grünsfeld and driven to Tauberbischofsheim, a town in the Main-Tauber district, where the police eventually brought the chase to an end with gunfire.

The chase ended in the town center, near an Obi market, where the police finally managed to stop the bulldozer using gunfire. Despite immediate attempts to resuscitate the man, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
