As a player, he would “definitely say something”, he added. “I know that from tournaments: When you’re there for a long time, you may have ten days or two weeks of vacation, a week of preparation, then the Super Cup or DFB Cup is waiting for you. There’s little time for recovery – physically, but also mentally.
