At the meeting of the Interior Committee in the German Bundestag about the Magdeburg attack, it apparently came to a breakdown. Federal Interior Minister Nancy Faeser (SPD) could not present a crucial document about the perpetrator to the Bundestag factions in the Interior Committee, according to a report by “Bild” (Monday edition) citing its own information.
The document in question is apparently a chronology of reports and investigations by the police and federal and state intelligence services, which was committed to the Bundestag factions a week ago. Faeser failed to provide this documentation to the authorities in the Taleb A. case.
According to the report, this document is of great importance for the evaluation of the authorities’ activities. In total, there are 80 police events involving the perpetrator or as a complainant, and six tips from foreign security services that deal with the Twitter threats of a citizen of their state.
