Germany's Shocking Asylum Deportation U-Turn

The chairman of the CSU’s state group in the German Bundestag, Alexander Dobrindt, demands a stiffening of deportations of foreign repeat offenders.

“It must be the principle: who repeatedly commits a crime on purpose, must be gone” he told the “Bild” (Monday’s edition). In the case of impossibility, the CSU politician demands: “Who cannot leave the country or be deported, must be taken into indefinite detention for deportation.”

“One can always leave the homeland from there” Dobrindt added. But one can no longer return to freedom in Germany.
