The Federation of Taxpayers demands the next federal government to brake the rise of social contributions.
The “Bild” (Monday edition) quoted the association’s president, Reiner Holznagel, as saying: “The exploding costs in care, pension, and health insurance must be urgently curbed. The new year begins for many people with a noticeable minus in their wallet. In the election campaign, the relief of citizens must finally be a priority.”
Holznagel called on all parties to present concepts for the relief of employees. “We need clear and honest concepts that ensure people keep more of their income and thus of their performance. At the same time, we need bold tax reforms that significantly reduce the burdens, so that people have the will to work again” Holznagel said to the “Bild”.
