AfD MP Klaus Stöber has sharply criticized Thuringian AfD leader Björn Höcke after the state party convention. “Björn Höcke is behaving like Julius Caesar. The strong election result in the state election doesn’t matter because Höcke remains in total opposition” Stöber told the Welt.

“If we want to change something, we need to govern in coalition. Unfortunately, that’s not possible with Höcke.” Stöber had run against Höcke as state party leader on Saturday. Höcke received almost 92% of the votes, while Stöber got just about 6%.
