Demands More COVID Data

Five years after the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the World Health Organization (WHO) is urging China to provide further data and information.

According to the WHO, this is still necessary to understand the origins of COVID-19, which is a “moral and scientific imperative”. Without transparency, exchange, and cooperation between countries, the world cannot adequately prepare for and prevent future epidemics and pandemics.

COVID-19 was first detected in Wuhan, China in December 2019 and then rapidly spread worldwide. The exact origin is still unclear today.
