The Bundestag factions of CDU/CSU, SPD, and the Greens have agreed to continue the Germany ticket at the increased price of 58 euros in 2025, using leftover funds from previous years.
“The agreement between SPD, Greens, and Union on the further financing of the Germany ticket is a great relief” wrote Detlef Müller, deputy chair of the SPD faction in the Bundestag, on the X platform. The ticket is “a great financial relief for millions of people in this country, who use it, for example, for their daily commute to work.” Especially for these people, reliability is needed, Müller said. “I am therefore very happy that we have come to an agreement together with the Greens and the Union.
