Ukraine to Sell Weapons to Other Countries After the War
“We would gladly offer our products to other countries that need to defend themselves” said Oleksandr Kamyschin, a presidential advisor and former industry minister, to the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.
The war presents the national defense industry with an opportunity to bring new products to the market and expand its capacities. “The production of weapons is not only the backbone of our security but also the locomotive of our economy.”
Kamyschin participated in the German-Ukrainian Economic Forum in Berlin on Wednesday to attract investors for Ukrainian defense projects. Ukraine is “pioneering in drone technology” the politician and former head of the state railway company said.
Over 200 companies have been established in the country since the Crimean crisis, producing all types of drones. This technology will be gladly shared with other countries. “It’s not just about Ukraine for Vladimir Putin” said Kamyschin, who resigned as minister in September as part of a cabinet reshuffle. “Russia will continue to try to attack its neighbors.
