The SPD maintains its lead in the polls and reaches its highest value in 14 months. According to the “Bild” (Tuesday edition) citing a new trend from the Insa Institute, the SPD would get 17 percent of the vote if the federal election were held on Sunday.
This is one point more than in the previous week and the highest value since early October 2023. The AfD also gains one point and reaches 19.5 percent. The BSW gains half a point and gets to eight percent.
The biggest losers are the Greens, who lose 1.5 points and get 11.5 percent. The Left falls to three percent, minus 0.5 points. CDU/CSU (31.5 percent) and FDP (4.5 percent) hold their values from the previous week.
For the Insa opinion trend commissioned by the “Bild”, a total of 200,400 citizens were surveyed from December 6 to 9, 2024.
