Whatsapp

Over the past few days there has been a lot of news about the features that WhatsApp is testing in beta for Android, iOS and desktop.

Now we bring you the full list of features that are in the works. Some of them are in the initial stages, while others are in an advanced stage of development.

Some of them are expected to become available to the general public soon.

– For all business users who install the latest version of WhatsApp Business for Android and iOS, new features are available: new interface for connected devices, ad tracking and collection reorganization.

– WhatsApp is redesigning the app for Windows by adding a new sidebar for apps, where status updates, chats, settings and user profile can be easily accessed. It is also possible to reply to status updates from here.

– Business users also get a tools tab that replaces the old camera tab in the latest beta version for WhatsApp Business.

– WhatsApp beta also implements some innovations for message processing – edited messages will be marked as “Edited” and WhatsApp will allow users up to 15 minutes to edit the message after sending.

– The App Store has received an update that allows reacting to status changes and this option is available to almost all users.

– Users on the iOS 16 platform can re-edit text messages using new text formatting shortcuts within the text action menu.

– Minor feedback changes are coming: up to four feedbacks will appear in chat bubbles for those users who install WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.22.12.

– Some users will be able to insert a link to bookmarks when sharing their status update.
