Vote of no confidence possible against Johnson

Vote of no confidence possible against Johnson.

Britain’s Prime Minister Boris Johnson could face a no-confidence vote on Wednesday. So far, 25 Conservative MPs have publicly declared that they have requested one.

In order for a vote to actually take place, at least 54 representatives of your own party are required.

Should there actually be a vote of no confidence on Wednesday, at least 180 out of 359 would still have to vote against the prime minister for him to lose his job.

Johnson has apologized several times for violating strict contact restrictions in the corona pandemic, but has refused to resign.

The government faces too many challenges and it is irresponsible to run away from them.
