Volkswagen accepts Tesla’s challenge.

German manufacturer Volkswagen is nearing completion of construction of the revolutionary Trinity plant.

Volkswagen has not said anything for weeks – about the fact that it wants to close some projects such as the construction of the electric car factory Trinity, which is worth two billion euros, which they hope will help to have an advantage over Tesla – the rival. which has started production at the new plant in Berlin,

At that plant, Tesla could produce the Y model in just ten hours, while Volkswagen needed three times as much time to produce the ID.3 electric car.

Volkswagen is now looking to shorten this production time by making this possible at the new Trinity plant, which should start operating in 2026.

“Our goal is clear: we want to set new standards in our production. “If we can produce the car in a record time of 10 hours, we have achieved something great,” said Volkswagen’s production chief Christian Volmer in an interview with Reuters.

While Tesla needs 10 hours to produce the Y model, Volkswagen still needs 30 hours. Demand for VW in Germany has recently increased to increase production capacity, due to the opening of Tesla’s new plant, which is considered the main rival.
