A video released shows the touching moment when an Azovstal prisoner was reunited with her daughters.

Emine Dzheppar, Ukraine’s first deputy minister of foreign affairs, reportedly tweeted the video of Azovstal defender Zoryana Repetska reuniting with her daughters. Dzheppar says she was imprisoned by the Russians for five months.

“Watch how Azovstal defender Zoryana Repetska meets her family after 5 months of being held by the Russians,” wrote Dzheppar in her post.

“Tearful reunion with her daughters who were waiting for her mother so much.”

The video shows three girls screaming and running towards Repetska holding flowers and hugging her.

On Monday, more than 100 Ukrainian women were released by the Russians as part of what is believed to be one of the largest prisoner exchanges of the war so far.

Of the Ukrainians, 12 were civilians and 37 were captured by Russian forces after the collapse of the Azovstal steel plant in the port city of Mariupol in May. It is not clear whether Repetska was among those released.
