In a deal worth around 260 million euros with Swedish manufacturer Saab, the UK defense ministry has said it is buying thousands of anti-tank weapons.

They will be assembled at a Thales facility in Belfast and handed over to the British Army.

Some of the UK’s arms stockpile has previously been donated to Ukraine.

The Next Generation Light Anti-Tank Weapon is a shoulder-launched missile system that can be operated by a soldier.

Ben Wallace, the defense secretary, said the weapons had played a “crucial role” in supporting Ukraine’s military.

Otherwise, Britain is one of the countries that is mostly helping Ukraine militarily.
