Twitter is getting big advertising firms back

According to some reports, Amazon is planning to restart its multimillion-dollar ad campaign on Twitter.

The move will see Amazon spend around €94.9m (£81.3m) a year on the platform now owned by Elon Musk.

In a tweet by a Platformer reporter, the company’s return is pending some “security changes” to Twitter’s advertising platform.

Twitter CEO Elon Musk has said that Apple Inc has also restarted its advertising in full.

So far, neither Amazon nor Apple have responded to these reports.

Apple was the biggest advertiser on Twitter in the first quarter of this year – a period when it spent €45.4m (£40m) on advertising within the social network, but this spending has fallen.

It turned out to be Elon Musk himself, who via a tweet confirmed the news that Apple and Amazon had returned to advertising on Twitter.
