The head of Ukrainian diplomacy criticizes Germany

Ukraine

Ukraine’s foreign minister has criticized Germany at a time when his country is seeking more help from Western countries.

Volodymyr Zelensky has repeatedly reiterated the demand for more weapons – in particular the anti-aircraft ones that have recently proven to be very effective in the Ukrainian counter-offensive.

The head of Ukrainian diplomacy, Dmytro Kuleba, has said that he cannot understand why Germany is not supplying them with Leopards – a type of tank, as well as Marders, an armored motor vehicle.

On the other hand, Germany has decided to strengthen its defense forces after the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine – where there are talks about the purchase of Israel’s Arrow 3, the advanced missile system.

After many decades of lack of investment, this country has now decided to open its wallet and start strengthening the army.

Meanwhile, at the beginning of the Russian aggression, NATO itself had criticized Berlin for not reaching the target – i.e. giving 2 percent of GDP to invest in defense within NATO.
