The director of Pfizer is infected with COVID-19

The General Director of Pfizer, Albert Burla, has announced today that he is positive with COVID-19 and that he has very mild symptoms.

Burla, 60, said he began therapy using the company’s anti-COVID drug Paklovid and that, in accordance with public health precautions, he is in isolation.

“I am confident that I will recover quickly,” Burla said in a statement.

Burla received four doses of the COVID vaccine developed by Pfizer and its German partner BioNTech.

Several US public figures have tested positive in recent months, including US President Joe Biden and his chief medical adviser, Dr. Anthony Fauci.
