The court “takes down” Trump

Donald Trump

The US Supreme Court has ordered former President Donald Trump’s tax returns to be released to a congressional committee controlled by Democrats.

The move is a major blow to Trump, who has tried for years to prevent his tax returns from being made public.

He was supposed to have made them public when he was first elected president.

Trump became the first president in 40 years not to release the data after announcing his first presidential run.

This was the second defeat of the former president in the Supreme Court in a few months and the third this year.

In October, the court declined to intervene in the legal battle over the FBI’s search of Trump’s Florida estate, where secret documents were discovered.

The debate is intensifying in Washington after last week, Trump announced that he will run for president again in the 2024 elections.
