Sullivan: Iran is preparing to supply Russia with drones.

White House National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan told reporters that the United States has information that Iran is preparing to supply Russia with drones — including various drone-mounted weapons.

Sullivan emphasized that the war in Ukraine is costing Russia dearly, and to minimize this, it is trying to supply from the east.

According to him, the White House has information that the Iranian government is preparing to donate hundreds of drones to Russia.

“Information we have indicates that Iran is preparing to train Russian forces in the use of these aircraft – starting with a training session within the next few days. However, it is not known if Iran has already sent any such aircraft to Russia,” Sullivan added.

And according to the spokesman of the White House, Sullivan’s information is based on American intelligence reports that he collected from the field.

This is not the first time that it is reported that the war in Ukraine is costing Russia dearly, and that military equipment is starting to be lacking and the few allies it has are trying to come to its aid.

Earlier it was reported that many Syrian mercenaries have appeared to fight alongside the Russians against the Ukrainians since the beginning of the Russian occupation of this country.
