Russians fear Kiev’s counteroffensive

The Ukrainian army has begun to accumulate a large number of tanks and other armored vehicles at the entrances and exits of the Kherson region, the deputy head of this region Kiril Stremousov announced today.

He is the deputy head of the administration, who was placed in Kherson by Moscow after the invasion of this region.

“Many combat vehicles are concentrated in this region, consisting mainly of tanks and other armored vehicles,” he said in a video posted on Telegram.

On the other hand, he added that the evacuation of residents on the left side of the banks of the Dnipro River is continuing.

“People in the city can still leave and abandon the right side of the banks,” he added.

And Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Saturday that he supports the evacuation of civilians from Kherson, as the Ukrainian army advances on the strategically important port city.

Otherwise, Kiev is accusing the Russians of forcibly forcing residents to evacuate Ukraine, which is being considered a war crime, and Moscow denies these claims.
