Russia “will not make concessions” in the war.

Ramzan Kadyrov, the leader of the Chechen Republic of Russia, has warned that Moscow “will not make concessions” in its war with Ukraine.

He added that Kremlin negotiator Vladimir Medinsky was wrong in suggesting otherwise.

Medinsky, head of the Russian delegation to talks with Ukraine, said earlier that Kiev ‘s readiness to consider neutral status would meet a key Russian demand.

He said Ukraine had put forward a series of proposals during Tuesday’s talks in Istanbul, including its readiness to approve a nuclear-weapon-free status and to drop its bid to join NATO.

However, in a video statement that appeared to deviate sharply from Russia’s official position, Kadyrov said Vladimir Putin would not stop at what he had launched in Ukraine.
