Russia for the first time admits that it has lost in Ukraine

In his most recent speech, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that so far about 8,000 square kilometers of Ukrainian territory have been liberated – most of them in the Kharkiv region.

Zelensky emphasized that measures are currently being taken to calm the situation in the liberated territories, and that such measures are being applied in many other parts as well.

Also, the Ukrainian president announced that they are working on increasing the support of the international factor, regarding the security and future of Ukraine.

“With our partners, we have built an anti-war coalition that includes dozens of different countries. While now the most powerful countries that are helping us are working to turn it into a peace coalition that will last forever,” added Zelensky.

The American Institute for the Study of War (ISW) in the latest analysis, has emphasized that Russia for the first time since the beginning of the invasion in Ukraine, has openly admitted that it has suffered very large losses.

“Kremlin officials are heavily discussing the reasons for the Russian failure in the Kharkiv region, which is a big change from how Russian victories were once reported.

The Kremlin has never admitted that Russia has been defeated by Kiev, or later by Snake Island, where the withdrawal from Kiev was characterized on the grounds that the priority remains the ‘liberation’ of Donbas and the withdrawal from Snake Island as a ‘gesture of goodwill'” , it is said, among other things, in the ISW report.

The Kremlin is now working to ‘clear’ Putin of any blame for the defeat, and blame it on Putin’s ill-informed advisers.

ISW also informs that the loss of the Russians in Kharkiv, the Russian authorities have tried to use to interpret it as a silent mobilization.
