Over 1200 dead bodies were found in the Kiev region.

Ukraine’s Prosecutor General says 1,222 bodies have been found in the Kiev region since Russian forces withdrew from the area.

Iryna Veneditktova said Ukrainian authorities were investigating 5,600 cases of suspected war crimes committed by Russian troops since the beginning of the occupation, and she had identified over 500 suspected war criminals, including senior military and government officials in Russia.

“What we see in all regions of Ukraine are war crimes, crimes against humanity and we do everything to fix it,” she said.

She adds that Ukraine has evidence that Russia carried out a missile attack on a train station in the eastern city of Kramatorsk, which killed more than 50 people waiting for a train to take them west, in relative safety.

Russia has denied responsibility for Friday’s attack and claims it was not their missile. It has also denied targeting civilians.
