Mercedes presented the AMG C63 F1 Edition

Mercedes-AMG will produce a recall of the Formula 1 car for just one year, and according to the latest information, the C63 S E Performance F1 Edition will only be available to customers in Europe.

After the recently presented latest edition of the most powerful Mercedes C-Class, behind which AMG stands, in Affalterbach they prepared the C63 S E Performance, the exclusive gray body color and the numerous black and red details suggest that it is inspired by the Mercedes Formula 1 car.

Mercedes has revealed that the first special edition of the C63 S E Performance model, which goes by the name F1 Edition, will be produced for just one year, and will be available to customers (in Europe) in both body styles.

The car sits on 20-inch black rims reinforced with red rims, and extensive standard equipment includes AMG’s aerodynamic body component package, which includes a larger air deflector, redesigned door sills, a small spoiler on the boot lid and another rear diffuser.

Standard equipment includes the Night I and II packages with extensive black body detailing.

The black color dominates the leather-clad cabin, where the contrast is made by the red seat belts and the color of the belts is also the thread used to sew the sports seats and many other details.

The AMG head is stamped on the headrests and every customer will receive a body cover with the F1 logo in addition to the F1 Edition.

The price has not yet been announced.

As a reminder, the first Mercedes-AMG C63 without a V8 engine brings with it a hybrid engine (PHEV) consisting of a two-liter four-cylinder turbo gasoline engine (M139) assisted by an electric motor and a 9-speed automatic takes care for power transmission to both axles (4Matic).

With a combined output of 680 horsepower and 1,020 Nm of torque, the C63 S E Performance accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and reaches 280 km/h.
